miss leeeeeeeeeeishaaaaaaa!

that's what i heard today when i was out playing a little bit o' futbol with my students at the middle school. i was placed on a team b/c we were low in numbers, and of course i was suckin' it up (i'm really bad at futbol-- not gonna lie, folks). well, one girl, carla, must've said "miss leeeeeeeishaaaaaaa!" just about EVERY time i did something wrong (or just didn't do something right). thank goodness for a good sense of humor. i thought it was adorable! but really, i did try. but they really weren't afraid to talk about how bad i was, right there in front of me. hey, gotta start somewhere, right? it was a lot of fun, all in all, although my hustle to and fro was almost nonexistent. what happened to the good ole' days of being one of the first up and down the court/field/what have you?

step practice went over two hours tonight, and it was probably one of the more intense moments of my life. we perform tomorrow night, which would be a great contributing factor. wish me suerte. this should be a blast............

and happy (bvu) homecoming! (although i haven't gotten to participate in a single homecoming activity due to a crazy busy sched........ c'est la vie, no?)
