have i already made mention that this is an extremely exciting time to be in buenos aires?
why, you ask?
bush is here. yes, as in the president.
just a little thought: you know, i think people should travel just for the sake of having their eyes opened to what happens outside of the divided states of america, i mean, the united states of america (did that slip?). incredible, really, what can be seen outside of the states, that cannot be seen within the states.
ever.there´s about 50 times more coverage on the anticumbre than the cumbre right now (hint: cumbre is summit en español), hmm, who´da thought.
argentina is not a fan of bush. now that i think about it, neither are any of the other south american countries. it takes no time to realize this. is there coverage of anything from the summit back in the states? i´d be curious to see what kind of coverage is it. without a doubt it´s probably totally opposite of what the coverage is like here. american media tends to do that a little bit. or rather, a lot.
wish i could say more, but... time to eat and then grab a taxi to head toward 9 de julio, where a pretty exciting marcha should be going on, or at least, that´s my plan.
man, these are some exciting times.
me encanta viajar!
